Fascia: The Living Web with Anna Petropoulou

In the second Embodied Flow™ & Yoga workshop, we eill move with fascia—the vital connective tissue that links, supports, shapes, and continuously informs us about where and how we are. Fascia surrounds, separates, and connects muscles, organs, and bones, playing a fundamental role in movement, posture, and sensory perception.

Fascia thrives on movement. Together, through asana, breathing techniques, and guided free movement, we will explore how the qualities of fascia influence movement quality and the sense of organization of the body in space. In turn, by seeking an optimal balance between repetition and variation, we will move in conditions that support the release of tension and cultivate the calm and confidence that naturally emerge from an embodied experience of connection and wholeness.

Within fascia, our physical state is intertwined with our mental and emotional experience. Embodied Flow™ is the method and practice through which, by working with fascia, we can awaken deeper insight into the relationships and connections that shape our lives.

The workshop is open to both beginners and experienced practitioners, as well as those interested in the functional anatomy of movement. Each session is dynamically shaped by the composition and quality of the group.

About Embodied Flow™:

Embodied Flow™ was created in 2014, by Tara Judelle, in collaboration with Dr. Scott Lyons, and is the first school to organically connect the embodied field of Body-Mind Centering®, Tantra's non-dual technology and free movement with yoga.

About Anna Petropoulou:

Anna has been teaching yoga classes, seminars and experiential workshops since 2013. She combines the themes of the classes with conscious movement and breath awareness as a means of exploring and understanding our true nature and the essence of the joys and challenges in our relationships.

Since her first encounter with Embodied Flow™ 2018, embodied exploration has remained an inexhaustible source of inspiration for Anna, fluctuating between curiosity and wonder; a living pulse that constantly shapes her practice and the way she teaches - and lives.
