VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa Yoga is a practice full of flow

It is a kind of moving meditation. In Vinyasa Yoga the postures are put in order, creating a sequence. The body moves in a continuum, initially faster and gradually slower, in order to to reach positions where the rhythm of the breath supports the body to deepen on a physical and spiritual level. The class has a circularity, where each posture is connected to the previous and the next, giving it the feeling of a harmonious choreographic movement.

The main aim of the practice is the breath and its uninterrupted flow throughout the class. As the body gradually prepares itself, it can safely welcome the positions that follow and deepen into them, cultivating strength, flexibility and awareness.

At deeper levels, the aim is to strengthen the mind, understand and balance stress and connect with the self.
