Anastasia Plelli
VINYASA YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Anastasia was first introduced to yoga by the videotapes that were in the house as a child, as her mother practiced before and during pregnancy. When at university she experienced a period of stress she sought out the practice again. She left her studies in Mathematics and Philosophy in Glasgow and studied Criticism in Athens. At 23 she went to attend yoga classes in Rishikesh and Dharamshala, India, on a solitary journey. There she was fascinated by the treatment of death as a transition rather than an end and this idea inspired her to make the body, mind, emotions and their transcendence tools through the practice of yoga (connection) to approach the infinite.
She completed the 200h Hatha TT, at Root Yoga and after 5 months of attending Jules Febre's course in Berlin, she also completed the Jivamukti SW training, in Indonesia. The study doesn't stop and as a consequence, the delivery of classes and the organisation of retreats came up. She is interested in transmuting habit and reaction into action and presence by bringing thought, speech and action into balance.
