Full moon Kirtan with Adi Shakti

On the occasion of the last full moon of spring, we invite you to Neda Yoga Shala on Saturday, May 6 at 18:00-20:00 for a kirtan with our beloved Adi Shakti. Come and sing together!

Kirtan is a powerful yogic practice. It combines the recitation of mantras with music and rhythm, with a profound effect on the emotional level. Kirtan has its roots in the Vedic tradition and is a type of "call and response" song. The term kirtan means to narrate or describe and refers to the repetition of melodic mantras, accompanied by musical instruments and the response of those present.

What makes kirtan special:
Mantra means "That which expands the mind and perception".

The vibration of the mantras, hearing the sound of our voice, tuning into the melody and rhythm, deep breathing and of course joining our voice with the voice of others. All of this comes together to create the kirtan that takes us on a magical inner journey filled with a sense of joy, clarity and mental peace.

Come with a good mood and an open heart!

Adi Shakti is a Kirtan band, brought together by their love of song, expression and music. They consist of Antaratma Theodore Chiotis, Stavros Dantous, Alexandra Sotiropoulou and Anastasia Biliri Antaratma.
