Each Raga corresponds to a particular style, a given atmosphere, and there are separate Ragas for each hour of the day and for the different seasons of the year. The duration and expression of a Raga varies according to the virtuosity and inspiration of the musicians, the mutual communication between them and the influence of the environment in which the music is played.
