Soundhealing Saturdays with Nikos Zografos

The monthly sound therapy sessions with Nikos Zographos that we have been doing for several years now, is one of the most beneficial things we have offered in our studio and that is why he comes back with every new year. Nikos, who has a PhD in psychoacoustics, over 20 years of experience and a relentless research on sound, is the most qualified to administer this awesome tool and it is no coincidence that sessions with him have such a profound and uplifting effect.

We invite you again this year to the Soundhealing sessions with the accompaniment of gong, didgeridoo and singing bowls which Nikos combines with parallel crystal therapy, an incredibly powerful and transformative experience that we strongly recommend you to try!

Few words from Nikos:

Sound is the first stimulus that a fetus in the uterus perceives from the outside world, and it plays a crucial role throughout our lives, both in regard to how we perceive the world and to how we communicate with our fellow human beings. The origins of the therapeutic use of sound are lost in time and it appears in all civilizations, in various versions and forms. Sound therapy is the appropriate use of sound in order to restore balance on the physical, spiritual and mental planes. To this purpose, three kinds of primeval audio instruments are mainly used – the gong, the didgeridoo and the singing bowls, either separately or combined. The low end rhythmic frequencies of the didgeridoo remedy our relation to the Earth and restore the energy flow inside the body. The widely extensive frequency spectrum and the intensity of the gong permeate each cell and bodily structure, revitalizing and purifying them. The singing bowls normalize and balance the human energy field.

It is up to the sound-therapist’s insightfulness to decide how they are going to coordinate each therapy session, depending on the participants’ needs. A simple meditative practice will precede the session, aiming to increase the openness and energy alignment of the participants, followed by the main sound-therapy practice, which is focused around four pillars:

  • Cleansing of the energy bodies and respective chakras
  • Removal of stagnant energy
  • Alignment of all energy bodies to the physical body
  • Energy charging and balancing, according to the participants’ individual needs

Following the sound therapy session, time is allowed for everyone to get back in touch with everyday life, while preserving all the positive effects of the session. There is also time for discussion and questions.

Dates:
