The Yoga of Sound Retreat with Anastasia Biliri & Swami Savikalpa

In September we gather in Spetses for two very special Sound Yoga Retreats with Swami Savikalpa and Anastasia Biliri.

Our retreat will include gentle physical and breathing practices, and especially sound baths and yogic sound techniques, mantra and kirtan recitation. We will experience the power of sound and the benefits of sound yoga on a physical, mental, emotional and practical level. This will be combined with time for swimming, relaxation, fresh home-cooked meals and walks in the beautiful nature of Spetses.

COST

The cost of the trip will be 300 euros and will include accommodation (2 nights in double/triple room), all courses and meals (2 brunches & 2 dinners).This time, we will all cook/clean up together.

Transportation costs are not included. Transportation is either by ferry (2,5 hours from Piraeus), or by car (2,5 from Athens) which we usually share.

Anastasia Biliri
Anastasia was introduced to yoga on a remote magical sandy beach about 15 years ago.

Since 2009 she has been travelling frequently to India to study with renowned teachers in traditional Hatha Yoga. She has completed 4 teacher training programs (200hrs, 300hrs and 365hrs) as well as numerous seminars in Europe and India on therapeutic yoga, anatomy, philosophy, kinesiology etc. under the guidance of Leslie Kaminoff, Swami ShaktiMurti, Swami Niranjanananda, Swami Sivamurti, Sharat Arora etc.

She is a Hatha Yoga instructor since 2012 and founder of Neda Yoga Shala. She has taken Karma Sannyasin initiation in the Satyananda Yoga system from Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati at Rikhiapeeth Ashram in India, walking with dedication on the path of spiritual quest. He is involved in music and is a member of the Kirtan ensemble Adi Shakti as well as the Ryza Project, through which he explores the connection between sound and yoga. She has also completed month-long training courses on the Indian keyboard with Kenny Clarys.

With her teaching, she wants to transmit to the world what she was fascinated by in yoga. Swami Savikalpa  
Swami Savikalpa Saraswati (Dushanka Radosavljevic) was born and raised in Serbia. She studied obstetrics at the Belgrade Medical School and music at the Vojislav Vuckovic Music School in Belgrade. She started practicing the Satyananda Yoga System at a very young age, which led her to Satyandashram Greece in Peania, where she stayed and trained under the guidance of Swami Sivamurti Saraswati for twenty-five years. She completed the Instructor Training in 1989 and has been teaching the Satyana Yoga System since 1991. She has attended many yoga, yogic lifestyle and sannyasa training seminars over the past twenty years. In 2005 he received initiation in purna sannyasa from Swami Niranjananda. She has also attended progressive Yoga Vidya 1 and 2 courses at the Bihar School of Yoga in Munger, Bihar in India.


She has taught numerous courses, workshops and seminars on various yoga topics in Greece and abroad. Her interest is mainly in the teaching tradition of Yoga for Women (Yoga and perimenopause and menopause, prenatal and postnatal yoga and yoga and fertility), Nada yoga (application of sound in yoga) and Mantra yoga.

She continues to upgrade her knowledge and experience in yoga according to the tradition of the Satyananda Yoga system.

She is a member of the Greek Association of Instructors trained in the Satyana Yoga System. She has been a member of the interdisciplinary team of the European Academy of Satyananda Yoga since 2018 and is a member of the board of Yoga Vidya, Bihar School of Yoga, Munger India. Through her teaching, she encourages students to understand the depth of yoga and apply the philosophy and knowledge of yoga to their daily lives and, in doing so, have a complete experience on and off the mat.
