Yin Yoga, Stories and live Sitar
Paco Rodriguez is coming back to Athens and Neda Yoga Shala! Paco is a dedicated Bhakti Yogi and he will accompany with his sitar Anastasia Biliri and her Yin Yoga class. A gentle and slow class, dressed with sweet melodies and stories from various traditions. The practice will end with a kirtan jam led by Paco. It will be in Greek, but some basic translation will be done for non-Greek speakers.

Paco Rodriguez
Paco has been a professional musician since his teenage years. He started learning Sitar in 1994 in Varanasi (India), the same year he was initiated into Bhakti yoga and never stopped practicing since. During the nineties he passed a lot of time with sadhus (wandering monks) in between Varanasi and the Himalayas, practicing yoga and learning about Vedanta and Hindu mythology. In 1995 he sat his first Vipassana meditation retreat and since insight meditation is part of his daily routine. Back in France, he lived 9 years in the French Pyrenees, in a buddhist meditation commune, Tapovan. Nowadays Paco performs more than 100 concerts a year in India and in Europe with two projects Sitarsonic and Kundalini Airport, he leads Kirtan in various yoga centers in Goa and Europe and also provides soundscaping and soundbathing for yoga class or guided relaxation sessions. Paco is 56 years old and is currently living between India, France and Greece.
Anastasia Biliri
Anastasia is practising Yoga since 2007. She was initially tought by Evangelia Chalikia to whom she is ever greatful for the inspiration she gave her. Her first trip to India was in 2009, and she has been frequently vising ever since, practising with distinguished teachers such as Somir Kumar Dutta, Sharat Arora (Iyengar Yoga Citizenship Center) and Sunil and Bhakti Kumar (Yoga Training Center). Upon her return to Greece in 2010, she completed training seminars with: Jean Claude Garnier (Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga 2010 – 2014), David Swenson (Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Primary Series Teacher Training Program, London 2012), Vivi Letsou (TT 200hrs, 2012), Petros Haffenrichter (Vinyasa Kramah TT, 2012 and Jivamukti TT, 2015), Todd Norian (Adjustments and Therapeutic Yoga, 2013). She also attended technical seminars with Yannis Ntatis (Physiotherapy and Kinesitherapy 2012 & 2013) and Evangelos Dimos (Anatomy and Physiology, 2013) and completed a 5-month seminar with Leslie Kaminoff and Linda Munro in Paris (Yoga Anatomy, 2014-2015) . In 2013 she became initiated in Satyananda Yoga by Swami Sivamurti Saraswati. In 2014, she completed the Teacher Training Program of Bihar School of Yoga Rikhiapeeth in India (TT 365hrs) under the guidance of Swami Shakti Murti and was initiated as Jignasu by Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati. She has been a student of Alessandro Ortona since 2011, with whom she has also completed the one-year teacher training program (TT 200hrs, 2015). Aside from yoga, Anastasia has a love of music. She plays piano from an early age and is still studying at the Greek National Conservatory. She is also learning santouri with Marios Papadeas. She has been an instructor of Hatha Yoga since 2012. With her teachings, she wishes to inspire people on how this practice offers an internal shelter, but at the same time it gives you the strength to face life.
