Full Moon Yin Yoga
We invite you on Friday, January 13th, on the 1st full moon of the year, for a free Yin Yoga class!
The class will be led by Elena Michalopoulou.
Wanting to awaken the most yin qualities of the self, observation, introspection, patience, qualities missing from our busy yang lifestyle, we invite you to our first yin yoga class of the new year.
In a yin yoga practice, we spend some time in asana, stillness and silence, and surrender to gravity, listening to the body without any intention of changing it.
Yin refers to this infinite calm and deep healing power within us.
By calming the muscular and nervous system, we affect the deeper levels, the peritoneum, joints and parasympathetic system, and give the body time and space to bring to the surface whatever energetic and emotional blockages it has and release them.
In this class we will listen to the body, let go, and release all expectations by welcoming our most receptive and compassionate selves this year by turning our attention inward, where the true self is hiding.

This class is for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced.
