Yoni Shakti: Sacred Feminine Power Circle with Sivani Mata Francis

We invite you to a special class Yoni Shakti wirh Sivani Mata Francis on Tuesday 18th of June at 19:30-21:30!

All women are invited to come and share together in this circle, to connect and embrace Shakti, our innate feminine power.

Welcome to this space of deep listening, of honouring the many moods, faces, experiences & seasons that we live in each moment and evolve through in our lives. Let us acknowledge & celebrate the beauty of every aspect of our being through poetry, song (music as medicine, kirtan), sacred gestures (mudra) and explorations of gentle, delicious, flowing yoga movement. Bringing to the mat who we are today, right now, and moving/ exploring from a place of awareness of that knowledge of what is present for us today.

Our practice will be based on Womb Yoga Therapy (Yoni Shakti), a holistic healing system inspired by tantra, yoga and ancient eastern traditions that honored women as Goddesses.

Womb yoga, as inspired & taught to us by Uma Dinsmore-Tuli is a system that not only encompasses the female body and our cyclical nature, but puts the womb as an organ-source of power (Shakti) at the center of our practice, along with the 10 Mahavidya, the 10 archetypes of deities that help us understand the feminine nature and reside within us, all together.

During our time together there will also be the opportunity for deep rest with the practice of Total Yoga Nidra (a nourishing lying down meditation that is the fertile soil for the flowers of our inner wisdom to blossom); as well as time to share together a little of ourselves in our circle.

Maha Shakti ki Jai! – All Power to the Great Deep Feminine Energy!

Sivani Mata is an artist moved by a sensory and elemental exploration of life through practice that evokes the liminal experience of trance-like states of consciousness, and the centering of the awareness in the heart. She believes in this process of deep inner work as a way to cultivate a harmonic relationship with the Earth. She is grateful for this journey she finds herself on and the practices that support her path.
